During this turbulent time, I believe that it's important to stay connected more than ever. However, because of the safety restrictions in place, we cannot physically meet together. Therefore, our small groups have now moved online.
If you are not already in a small group, we have several that we would love to get you connected to. Simply contact Pastor Keith <keith@spfamilychurch.ca> and he'll be happy to help.
If you are already in a small group, or leading a group, then we encourage you to make every effort to meet together online. There are a number of great tools out there to get us virtually connected and you’re welcome to use whatever is best for your group.
Skype is a free and easy option. If you want to host a call you must have the app on your phone or computer and create an account. Click HERE to get it, if you don’t already have it
Once you log on to the app, you’ll notice on the main page that Skype now has an option called “meet now”. If you click on that, it will allow you to start a call and it will offer you a link that you can share with others. All the other person needs to do is click the link on their phone or computer and it will bring them to the call. The best part is, they don’t have to have a Skype account or the app to join. You can text the link, email the link, or whatever. The other great feature is that, once you are on the call, you can dial their actual 9-digit phone number and that person will get a phone call, and when they pick up, they will be in the call with everyone. This is a great option for those who do not have a web camera or cell phone.
